* Fields/ Tournament Structure:

 

Houston USSSA Baseball reserves the right to modify game times,Location or bracket structure due to field conditions, time constraints,  team count, or inclement weather. This includes but is not limited to combining classes within an age group and in certain scenarios combining ages 7's & 8's, 9's & 10's, & 11's & 12's. Note: Overflow fields may be used for some events. If overflow fields must be used when the tournament is posted at Big League Dreams and all games are played on overflow fields, a $50.00 refund will be issued to the team. If a team plays a game or games at Big League Dreams and also on overflow fields, a $25.00 refund will be issued to the team. Refunds for offsite play excludes State, Fall State, Winter State, Double Points weekends, & Super NIT's though offsite play may be required.

 

14U Tournaments at Big league Dreams will be played at 60' pitching with 80' bases. All other locations play at 60/90 unless otherwise noted.

 

 

You must send email to dderiso@houstonusssa.com for offsite refund within 7 days of tournament completion to receive the refund. Include in the email;

Refunds

Rainouts/Shortened Events

- 0 games played: Full refund -( minus pre- tournament expenses if applicable).

*Weather Exceptions -for expenses that we can not recover, you receive a refund minus percentage of expenses. We will not ever make any profit off the teams if we have full rain-outs etc...


- 1 or 2 games played: Divided the sanction fee by minimum # of games played. Refund amount is the games remaining. For example, for a $450 tournament where only one game is played, the team would be entitled to a 67% refund, $300. 2 games played would be a $150.00 refund minus the previously mentioned expenses.


- 3 games played: NO Refund


- Once a game starts it is considered to be a game played.
 

 

Coolers- Outside coolers, food or drinks are not allowed in the parks. Please be respectful of this policy. We have a reasonably priced full service concession stand at all our parks. Please read the Big League Dreams Park policies for that park. We do not set policy for them and neither do the gate attendants. Be nice, they're just doing their job.

 


 Entry/Pull-Out Fees:


$50 Late-Pullout Fee (less than 1 week before the event)


Teams pulling out after the brackets are done are responsible for the entire entry fee. 


If we can replace your team, we will only charge the $50 pullout fee.

 

Only a paid entry fee reserves a spot in any event. Websites will show those who have signed up, but teams are not secured a spot until payment has been received.



Holiday Events - 3 Day Events or 4 Game Guarentees:
We cannot take game time request on such events due to such large amounts of teams at these events. Not enough game times to oblige all requests.

Sunday "No-Show" Fee: 


Teams that do not show up for a Sunday game (thereby shorting another team a game) will be charged a $100 fee. That fee will be given to the opposing team.


 $50 for all bounced check fee.
 


Team Classification:
If you end the season as a Major team, You must start the following year as a Major team -After 3 tournaments you can request to be re-classified. Same goes for AAA -AA request etc.
